Wroclaw is located in South West Poland, about 120km from the German border. Greater Wroclaw is home to nearly 500,000 people, coming 3rd in size after Warsaw and Krakow only. Known in Germany as Breslau, it is home to the top technical university of Poland, with a large number of fresh graduates in IT every year.
Wroclaw has been chosen for their subsidiaries or production sites by a large number of foreign corporations such as Siemens, HP, Volvo, Bosch, LG Electronics, SAP, Google, 3M and Whirlpool.
The local workforce shows exceptional technical skills and a keen awareness of business culture in large companies. In a significant proportion, young people also benefit from work experience in the UK, Ireland or Germany, and therefore bring excellent multicultural skills and is increasingly bilingual or trilingual.
Just around the corner
As Poland has been a EU member since 2004 and benefits from the same legal framework, companies working with Polish partners can rely on European Law to defend their interests.
Poland is also more importantly in line with business culture and ethics in Europe, and in the same time zone as most EU countries.
As distances with our customers remain very small, we often receive visits from them in critical phases of projects, often at short notice.
Additionally our clients appreciate that they can work from our premises at a reasonable cost of stay and travel, socialize with Project Managers and Engineers, and therefore monitor progress closely and provide us with direct feedback... while still having the feeling that they are very close from home.
