Portfolio Control is not a piece of software like any other. The first good reason is because it is not for sale. Not for sale as such anyway.
Most software around is a finished product and you can buy a licence if you want. Portfolio Control is for sale as a concept, as a working engine for a project, such as a financial portal (it was applied to stock monitoring).
It does not have to be like this nonetheless. Your interest in Portfolio Control may be in things that it does not do, or even in things it is not supposed to do.
Portfolio Control is the name we gave to a set of versatile, customizable software elements which we offer to use for the project of your choice. If you know of biology, Portfolio Control can be compared to stem cells in the sense that their purpose is not set.
